| August 17, 2010 | 17 Comments | 16,590 views

The Riverside Restaurant in Lampang is a couple of hundred yards down the road from the Riverside Guest House.

If your decompressing at the Riverside Guest House, you can walk down and eat here everyday.

The food is really excellent and you sit right on the river.

What more can you ask for?

The menu is extensive and includes wine, Thai and farang food, plus desert.

Here are some pics of selections off the Thai menu.

If you eat Thai food frequently, you’ll recognize most of these.

All these featured high quality ingredients, were expertly prepared, and flavorful.

Well, I don’t take my kids to such places. There is no need for them to be exosped at a young age. It always saddens me to see this farang guy drinking a beer with his mates and his 11 year old daughter sitting there, often head on the table waiting to be able to go home Let kids be kids!! They have the rest of their lives to go whereever THEY want to go !

Thank you! I really like your blog as well. It’s aalyws wonderful to find a fellow traveler with a similar story.I truthfully just arrived in Thailand a couple weeks ago and I’m still getting my bearings. Bangkok is amazing with a ton of things to do. I’ve spent most of my time in a town called Lopburi that you can reach from Bangkok for about $1.50 on a minibus or train. It’s amazing if you’re interested in ruins and tons of monkeys. Send me an email if you want more info!
