The Chom Chun Garden Restaurant is located just outside Udonthani on the West Ring Road.

It takes 5 minutes to drive there from the main Udonthani mall.

It fits the standard Thai restaurant model with a large open outdoor area and a smaller air conditioned room.

There is a stage where live music is performed at night.

The Chom Chun is known for hiring young attractive girls as waitresses. Most wear shorts and tank tops while serving. As a group they are very friendly and are open to giving out their numbers to farang who are polite and wear quality fabrics.

If you are a stranger in town, chatting up the Chom Chun waitresses is an excellent way of familiarizing yourself with the Udonthani locals.

They Chom Chun The Chom Chin serves a traditional Issan Thai menu and is very reasonably priced.

The dishes are super spicy and they are sweeter than the usual Bangkok analogs.

They are also very rich. Maybe this is a feature of Thai cooking in Udonthani but it is definitely a feature of the Chom Chun menu.

Everything was fresh and tasty including the service staff.

Excellent place for newbies in Udonthani to kick back and mellow out.
